Summary
Many of James’ original readers suffered greatly for the cause of Christ. Some probably thought that they would live to see Jesus’ return. James reminds his weary audience that Jesus is indeed coming back. Because of His return patience is fruitful, steadfastness is blessing and judgment is certain.
