The aim of John 10 isn’t to encourage us to be good leaders, but to rely on the true leader. Jesus is the only source of true life and true love and he alone can lead us. Through him alone we can experience the life we were created for.

As we examine John chapter 9, we find that Jesus gives sight to the blind and blinds those who think they see.

As we celebrate the Incarnation this Christmas season, we observe three things in Luke chapter 1 that increase our joy. The annunciation shows us that God defies our preconceptions, does what He promises, and demonstrates His power.

True faith must have the right object (who we believe in) and the right objective (what we need in Christ: salvation and the gift of eternal life).

God’s family is made up of everyone who loves and listens to Jesus Christ. No matter what our earthly family situations look like, we can be encouraged that Jesus came to adopt us into God’s family.

As we enter into this Advent season, we will focus on freedom, family, and faith from Jesus’ perspective. Today, as we read John 8:31-36, we discover that true freedom from sin comes through true faith in God’s Son.
