Summary
In our quest to grow as believers, we can be tempted to supplement Christ with religious practices, fresh revelations or legalistic regulation that promise a lot but ultimately lead us away from Him. In Colossians 2:16-23, Paul warns us not to be duped by these things since Christ alone is the fulfillment of God’s promises, the final Word of his revelation and the one in whom we find freedom.
