Our mission is to grow disciples of Jesus who serve and share Christ at home, at work and in their communities. Below are just a few local opportunities to love and serve those around us.

Hunger/Poverty

East Penn Angel Network – A program of our local school district that provides support to families in a wide variety of ways. Click here to find out how you can contribute or volunteer.

Groceries PLUS – An emergency Food Pantry serving the Emmaus Community and hosted by Bethel Bible Fellowship Church. Click here for more information.

Homelessness

East Penn Neighbors Helping Neighbors – Serves families within the East Penn School District through multi-faceted short-term assistance in order to help restore and sustain healthy, independent living. Visit www.epnhn.org for more information about how you can get involved.

Allentown Rescue Mission – Provides rescue, rehabilitation and restoration for homeless men in crisis through Christ-centered programs based on accountability and compassion. Interested in serving? Visit www.allentownrescuemission.org.

Refugees

Bethany Christian Services – Connects refugee and immigrant families with churches and community resources to help them adjust to their new life in the U.S.  Visit www.bethany.org/allentown to see how you can get involved.

Pregnancy Support

Bright Hope – Offers a range of services to the local community, including pregnancy support centers in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. To find out how you can support their work visit brighthopecenters.org.

Fostering/adoption

The Kindness Project – provides much-needed resources to foster parents in our community. Volunteer or donate children’s and teens’ clothing, toys, games, etc. or new items such as socks, underwear, hygiene items, formula and diapers. For more information visit www.facebook.com/KindnessProjectLV/

Trafficking

VAST – Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, VAST empowers survivors and encourages the community to take action against human trafficking. For more information visit vast.ngo.
