Summary

In Psalm 51 David deepens our understanding of the damage and defilement that sin brings into our lives.  But he also reminds us that God’s mercy is bigger than our sin, and able to cleanse us of even the toughest stains.  This familiar passage is not only a call to confess our sin to God, but to find renewed joy and delight in a God who forgives.

Discussion Questions:

1. What “sacrifices” do you try to offer to God after you’ve sinned?

2. What struggle is God calling you to share with a trusted friend?
