Summary
The ancient city of Rome was a tribute to the power of man economically, politically, militarily and intellectually. In such a city, a message about a crucified Jewish carpenter must have seemed pretty weak and foolish! In Romans 1:8-17, we are reminded that it is anything but. It is nothing to be ashamed of, because it is the power of God!
